For over 57 years, the YMCA has been a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening Southwest Florida communities by connecting all people to their potential, purpose and each other. By bringing together people from different backgrounds, perspectives and generations, we ensure that everyone has access to the opportunities, relationships and resources necessary to learn, grow and thrive regardless of their inability to pay.
Every day, the Y strengthens communities for kids, adults, seniors, and families with programs that protect, teach, connect, heal, nourish and encourage. It’s how we help communities and the “us” who live in them find the power of their full potential. We can’t do it alone. Together, we can continue to meet our communities’ emerging needs by supporting our neighbors and giving back.
BE THE ONE... to connect people to a greater sense of purpose – and to each other – to make our community stronger.

SB 700 is part of a statewide effort to reduce foreign influence in key sectors, including the nonprofit community. It requires greater transparency regarding the source of significant donations, particularly those that may originate from or be associated with certain foreign entities.
To comply with this law, donors contributing major gifts will be asked to confirm that contributions are not funded by or affiliated with foreign sources of concern, as defined by the state.
These steps ensure we continue advancing our mission with transparency, responsibility, and trust.
